Remaking the Project...

I have spent the last week painstakingly attempting to get my project file to behave normally again. I had some serious issues with my file after moving it between drives, my back-ups failed, and even since mostly repairing the standard game file, it behaves as if it is haunted. Constant bugs, errors and scripts behaving in ways I cannot explain, as well as constant errors related to things beyond my understanding. It has made progress on the project grind to a halt for a week.
I have over 1 month to the deadline, so I am going to bite the bullet now, take all the assets and such that I have so far, and begin rebuilding the project from the ground up. At least now, I know exactly where I want to go with it. I also have a much better understanding of lighting (real-time, baked and mixed), and how to properly do this in my project. The first time around, the whole thing was set to real-time, and it was too far gone to start baking. I can still use my animations, weapon scripts, particle effects, everything in this new project, so long as they are not corrupted themselves. Remains to be seen!
I will be back with hopefully better news in a week or so!
